Who cares about the haters? If loving the Oakland Raiders is wrong, then many in the Raider Nation don't "wanna" do right.
In 2009 we defeated the Steelers, and they have six Super Bowl trophies. That's a good thing.

Most critics will bash the Raiders and their fans for being optimistic. The reality of the situation is that the Raiders have gotten better. They have made changes and will make changes to make sure they contend. |

All speculations and what-ifs go to the back burner because the Raiders have opened camp as they are. School is now in session for the Oakland Raiders.
Like last year, the first day of camp was more like school than boot camp.

I believe the priority of contract signings in San Diego will go as follows: Ryan Mathews, Vincent Jackson, Marcus McNeill, and then Shawne Merriman.
I pick Ryan Mathews as the first priority. He is the rookie and has the most learning to do of the four.

There's a bright side somewhere. Some of the big time bloggers and media personalities want the Raider Nation to think that the Oakland Raiders have such a long way to go to demonstrate their ability to win. The path to excellence, again, is not impossible or improbable. |

Making my rounds across this leagues message boards while listening to fans takes regarding the signing situation the league has found itself in with the first round picks, I noticed there is a school of thought swimming around.
