Has there really never been an official Dungeons & Dragons mobile game? No? Well then I am sure it pleases Dungeons & Dragons: Arena of War to be the first. It's coming soon to Android and iOS, and I'm not telling you where from because it'll only make some of you angry. |

I could not quote scripture in my late teens, but I could tell you how many gold pieces a 25 foot length of rope cost. The 2nd Edition Advanced Dungeons & Dragons sourcebooks were the religious texts of my teenage years, and today they've returned in truly epic form. |

Since Wizards of the Coast opened up its 3rd Edition of Dungeons & Dragons on the Open-Gaming License (OGL) there's been a bit of a roleplaying game renaissance. Myriad d20-based games have sprouted up. |

You've heard the rumblings before. Free doesn't work. Or perhaps it was that free doesn't work for big time franchises. More specifically for video games, you may have heard that when a game goes from paid to free it's a sign that it's a dead game.
