Briefly: There was a minute earlier this week where it looked like Disney's sale of Miramax to Ron Tutor and the investor group Filmyard Holding could have been in jeopardy. Basically, Tutor and his group had to put down some actual money this week. |

Disney announced yesterday that they have sold Miramax Films to Filmyard Holdings LLC - and its partners Ron Tutor and Tom Barrack - for a whopping $660 million! The deal should go through sometime between September and January of 2011. |
